Hi!
I've just moved to Bedford from Scotland and am really keen to play some volleyball. I've been struggling to find any teams in Bedfordshire and came across this team. I'm 23, played in my school team and played socially since. I would say i am of intermediate level but do not have much team experience. Could you give me some more info? How long would it take me to get to Letchworth form Bedford? I'd love to meet some cool people and play some great games! Thanks for your time.

Hi Alison I guess it would take about 20-25 mins to get from Bedford to Letchworth down the A1. It depends how fast you drive and what the traffic is like! We are playing socially at the moment with just a few turning up, but more expected later in the summer. However we are doing a bit of basic coaching as well, depending on numbers and who comes on the day. I also play at Welwyn and outdoor play on Mondays there is just South of Stevenage. That's a bigger game and Welwyn have 2 league teams though that might be a bit far for you on a regular basis. I'll add you to the email list and hope to see you around  |

Hi all! I see its a long time since anyone has posted something here, are you still going strong  I am Danish and have lived in Hitchin for 3 years now. I have played Volleyball for 8 years, but haven't played the last 5 years, but I would really like to start again.... Thanks for joining. We are doing some indoor training at Welwyn, and will be playing some outdoor games subject to weather. We start up again in Letchworth outdoors in May 2007 when the light comes back in the evenings. I will email you.

I'm 32, live in Sandy, Bedfordshire but work in St Albans Hertfordshire. Played a little when I was a teenager but would class myself as a beginner. Am looking to join a team and learn again and meet some new people and would like to get involved
